The Prismatic Color Space for Rgb Computations

چکیده

In the spirit of the HSV color space, we introduce a simple transform of the RGB color cube into a light/dark dimension and a 2D hue. The hue is a normalized (barycentric) triangle with pure red, green, and blue at the vertices, often called the Maxwell Color Triangle. Each cross section of the space is the same barycentric triangle, and the light/dark dimension runs zero to one for each hue so the whole color volume takes the form of a prism. This prismatic space has advantages computationally and intuitively for some common color operations used in computer graphics and image processing.

A novel RGB Fourier transform-based color space for optical microscopic image processing

This paper presents an IF1F2 color space for describing colors in microscopic images. Unlike the classical color spaces that treat the R, G, and B (RGB) components of a pixel’s color as independent elements, the proposed color space treats RGB as a sampled spectral signal, called a RGB signal. Then, based on the Fourier spectrum analysis of the RGB signal, the 1-D discrete Fourier transform is ...

Video-based face recognition in color space by graph-based discriminant analysis

Video-based face recognition has attracted significant attention in many applications such as media technology, network security, human-machine interfaces, and automatic access control system in the past decade. The usual way for face recognition is based upon the grayscale image produced by combining the three color component images. In this work, we consider grayscale image as well as color s...

Color Space with RGB Reversibility and Low Dynamic Range

At the Geneva meeting we presented the YCoCg color space [1], including its simple transformation equations relative to RGB and its improved coding gain relative to both RGB and YCbCr. We also discussed the reversibility of RGB to YCoCg conversion process in the case that two additional bits of precision are used for YCoCg relative to the precision used for source RGB data. In this proposal, we...

مدل‌سازی صفحه‌ای محیط‌های داخلی با استفاده از تصاویر RGB-D

In robotic applications and especially 3D map generation of indoor environments, analyzing RGB-D images have become a key problem. The mapping problem is one of the most important problems in creating autonomous mobile robots. Autonomous mobile robots are used in mine excavation, rescue missions in collapsed buildings and even planets’ exploration. Furthermore, indoor mapping is beneficial in f...

Pixel Value Adjustment for Digital Watermarking Using Uniform Color Space

In this chapter, we propose a pixel adjustment procedure for digital watermarking methods using uniform color space. Many digital watermarking methods use uniform color space due to the convenience of controlling image quality (Yoshiura & Echizen, 2006). However, there is the problem that watermarked RGB integer pixel values in such methods are not quite corresponding to the watermarked real-nu...
